This Privacy Notice is designed to help you understand how and why the South Tees Wellbeing Network (STWN) processes your personal data.  This notice should be read in conjunction with the Council’s Corporate Privacy Notice.

Who are we?

Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council is a ‘Data Controller’ as defined by Article 4(7) of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).  The South Tees Wellbeing Network has been established as a method of communicating service related information and training between staff and volunteers working to improve the wellbeing of residents in Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland.

What personal information do we collect?

We collect your name, the organisation you work for, the title of your role and the email address you use for work/ volunteering purposes.

Why do we collect your personal information?

We collect your information to

  • send you details of appropriate services working within your locality;
  • advise you of any training or wellbeing activities that are available to you;
  • develop links with colleagues who are working towards similar outcomes.

Who do we obtain your information from?

Information is provided directly by yourself via registration on the website, administered by Active Campaign.  Further details can be found in Active Campaign’s Privacy Policy here.

Who do we share this information with?

We do not share this information with anyone outside of the South Tees Wellbeing Network.

How long do we keep your information for?

We will retain your information until you choose to unsubscribe from the South Tees Wellbeing Network or until the network ceases to exist.  Your details are then irretrievably erased from our records.

What is our lawful basis for processing your information?

Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council relies on the following lawful basis to process your personal data:

  • UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a) - the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes

You can remove your consent or unsubscribe from receiving communications from the STWN at any point using links on all correspondence from the network.
