A group of young people from Redcar and Cleveland took the opportunity to show their music talents on an album with the support of council youth workers and professional artists.

Ice cream, cakes, chocolate and plenty of family fun are all on the menu this weekend as Redcar hosts its very first Dessert Festival.

Foster carers Martyn and Lauren Nelson, from Brotton, share how they help local children feel safe, supported and settled with family life, with their family pets, including pony, Troy, playing a key role in their fostering journey.
