Virtual School extended duties from September 2021
Virtual School Head's additional duties to promote the education of children with a social worker:
- Be a strategic leader who champions children with a social worker- enhance partnerships in education settings and local authority, so agencies can work together
- Identify cohorts needs and intervene to overcome poor educational barriers to ensure the pupil reaches their potential
- Support and advise key professionals to help children make progress using evidence-based interventions
This does not include provide support for individual cases and families.
