Mayor to lead Remembrance Day services across the borough

The Mayor of Redcar and Cleveland will lead remembrance services next week.

There will be 23 services and wreath laying ceremonies as communities come together to remember all those who have served in the country’s military.

Mayor, Councillor Ian Hart, who will attend the Redcar ceremony, said:

“Remembrance Sunday is a sacred day. It’s a chance to remember all those who have served – including those who gave the ultimate sacrifice - and their families. We also pay tribute to all those who continue to serve our nation. I urge everyone to attend a service if they can or at least take a moment to reflect.”
