WIN a ride in a hot-air balloon, drive a supercar, skydive, bungee jump or enjoy a relaxing spa-day by taking the Family Hub Challenge and entering a prize draw.
Three winners will have the chance to win a Red Letter Day experience of their choice worth up to £250 by completing nine simple tasks from registering with their Family Hub to participating in a group sessions.
The Family Hub Challenge is for parents and caregivers in Redcar and Cleveland with children aged 0 to 5 and is designed to showcase Family Hub services.
It’s very easy to take part. Simply pick up a challenge card from your local Family Hub or library or download it from the council website and start ticking off the nine fun, straightforward tasks.
It starts on Monday 17 November and the nine tasks must be completed by 31 March next year.
The nine tasks are:
- registering or introducing someone to your Family Hub;
- following the service on Facebook and downloading the app;
- taking part in a fun family session at a Hub;
- joining your local library or attending a library activity:
- booking onto a health drop-in session at the hub;
- asking a Family Hub assistant about a ‘healthy start card’ for your little one;
- registering for any online family course:
- completing a feedback card;
- attending a ‘parent and carer’ meeting.
The nine tasks must be completed by 31 March next year and verified by council staff at a Hub or library. To take part you must be 18 or over and live in Redcar and Cleveland. There will be three prize draws on Friday 30 January, Friday 21 February and Tuesday 31 March.
