Special Guardianship and Child Arrangement Orders are legal arrangements which allow children, who might otherwise be in care, to live with family or friends. There are around 300 such families in Redcar & Cleveland who are eligible to receive weekly financial support from the Council.
The council is proposing to update the financial support arrangements for these families, this consultation seeks views on some proposed changes.
