Most Schools and Academies in Redcar and Cleveland have catchment areas for use in the School Admissions Process. 

However, there are own admission authority schools (Catholic schools and Academies) in Redcar and Cleveland that have different admission arrangements and therefore which do not include school catchment areas. 

Parents/carers are advised to check the individual school’s admissions arrangement.

• Please note that living in a defined Catchment Area does not automatically guarantee a pupil a place in a specific school.

• Please note that living in the School Admission (Catchment) area of a school does not guarantee entitlement to Home to School Transport.
