Admission Arrangements
The Redcar and Cleveland School Admission Arrangements for the Academic Year 2026-2027 have now been determined.
The School Admission Arrangements applies to Schools for which Redcar & Cleveland local authority is the admission authority.
Foundation Schools and Academies as their own Admission Authorities will have determined their own Admission Policies as per the School Admissions Code of Practice.
The determined admission arrangements have been consulted on as per as per the School Admissions Code of Practice and will be applied for all admission applicants for the following school year at the normal point of entry.
Once admission arrangements have been determined for a particular year, they cannot be changed by the admission authority unless such revision is necessary to give effect to a mandatory requirement of the code, admission law, a determination of the Schools Adjudicator or any misprint in the admission arrangements.
Co-Ordinated Scheme
Each year all local authorities must formulate and publish on their website a scheme by 1 January in the relevant determination year.
The scheme must detail how the authority co-ordinates the admission arrangements for all publicly funded schools within the area. The scheme is available to download and view below.
