School Terms and Holiday Dates
Details of school term dates and holidays for most Redcar & Cleveland Schools are below. Whilst most school adhere to these dates, please note some schools and academies may vary their dates. Please get in touch with your child's school directly to check.

Professional Development Days (PD Days)
The total number of term days is 195. Five of these will be used for Professional Development Days (PD Days) for teaching staff. Pupils will not attend on these days. The days will vary from school to school and parents/guardians will be informed by the school. For any queries contact your school directly.
2019 Summer Term
The Summer Term runs from 23 April 2019 to 23 July 2019.
Half Term runs from 27 May 2019 to 31 May 2019.
Summer Holidays run from 23 July 2019 to 30 August 2019.
2019 Autumn Term
The Autumn Term runs from 2 September 2019 to 25 October 2019.
Half Term runs from 28 October 2019 to 1 November 2019.
2019 Winter Term
The Winter Term runs from 4 November 2019 to 20 December 2019.
Christmas Holidays run from 23 December 2019 to 3 January 2020.
2020 Spring Term
The Spring Term runs from 6 January 2020 to 4 April 2020.
Half Term runs from 17 February 2020 to 21 February 2020.
Easter Holidays run from 6 April 2020 to 17 April 2020.
2020 Summer Term
The Summer Term runs from 20 April 2020 to 17 July 2020.
Half Term runs from 25 May 2020 to 29 May 2020.
Please note that the May Day Bank Holiday has been changed from Monday 4 May to Friday 8 May as part of the VE Anniversary celebrations.
