Charges are applicable for residents who wish to dispose of certain types of materials at the Dunsdale tip. These items include:
- Tyres - £4.00 per tyre
The following limitations apply, per household, for the disposal of hardcore, rubble & ceramics, soil, and plasterboard at the site:
- Only 2 x 15kg bags of each material accepted per visit or a single item no larger than 2000mm x 750mm x 700mm in size (such as a plasterboard, a basin, etc)
- A maximum of 1 visit per week
Where residents bring asbestos to be disposed of, this must be double bagged using a minimum 300-gauge polythene sack and sealed.
Please note: We can only accept payment via debit or credit card at Dunsdale tip.
Unless authorised it is an offence to deposit waste arising from a business or trade and offenders face a fine of up to £50,000 and/or 5 years in prison.
Any vehicle believed to be presenting waste arising from a commercial activity will not be allowed to tip.
