Join Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council as a Graduate Management Trainee and spend two years working at the heart of an organisation that is transforming for the future whilst earning a minimum salary of £33,673 a year.
This is an opportunity to build your career, develop as a future leader and make a real difference to the place you call home.
Starting in Autumn 2027, you’ll earn a minimum salary of £33,673 a year, with the potential for this to increase pending pay negotiations. But this programme is about much more than a salary.
Across a minimum of three varied placements, you’ll work on challenging, meaningful projects in key areas of the Council, tackling real issues affecting our communities and helping to shape services that improve the lives of local people.
You’ll have the opportunity to bring fresh ideas, challenge how we do things and build valuable experience across different parts of the organisation. Along the way, you’ll receive dedicated mentoring and a fully funded learning programme culminating in a Chartered Management Institute qualification, giving you the skills, experience and confidence to take the next step in your career.
Make an impact where it matters
Redcar and Cleveland is a borough with huge ambition.
From major regeneration and investment to the changing needs of our communities, there are exciting opportunities ahead, alongside some significant challenges. We want the next generation of leaders to help us respond to them.
That’s why we’re looking for someone with energy, curiosity and ambition, who cares about our area and wants to contribute to its future.
You don’t need to start the programme knowing exactly where your career will take you. What matters is your willingness to learn, your ability to think differently and your determination to make a difference.
