Ricardo Curbelo: Rhythms from Latin America

Innovative musician, composer and poet, Ricardo Curbelo takes his audiences on a colourful musical journey on harp, cuatro, maracas and vocals. He presents a great combination of traditional Latin American music, together with his own, often spellbinding compositions. Vibrant, energetic and jazzy pieces contrast with captivating melodies and romantic vocals. The sound response of his Modelo Corvado harps, which he designs and constructs himself, is part of the uniqueness of his performances and he offers most of us over here quite a different experience of the harp!

Resident in London since 1979, Ricardo has many years experience on a wide variety of stages. After Saltburn, he will be going on to give concerts in Lancashire and the Isle of Arran. Catch him before he goes!
