Guisborough Levelling Up programme
In 2023 we received the exciting news that the Government had agreed to award £15.2 million to Guisborough following a successful bid for the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Levelling Up Fund.
Our focus centres around regeneration and accessibility through the delivery of a package of town centre public realm, active travel and accessibility interventions which will improve the economic performance, sustainability and vitality of Guisborough Town Centre and accessibility via active modes of travel to Teesworks and the North York Moors National Park.

Eston Levelling Up programme
In spring 2023, Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council received the exciting news that the Government had agreed to award £20 million Levelling Up funding to Greater Eston following a successful bid to the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
The approved projects will focus on regeneration by delivering improvements to the town centre as well as making leisure facilities and walking and cycling routes more accessible to residents.
Greater Eston Levelling Up will help transform Eston’s local centre, providing facilities to enable local people to live healthy and active lifestyles, and will better connect Eston to the Teesworks employment sites.
