Eston pool opened on 14 February 2026.
The Eston Pool project will deliver a new swimming pool and learner pool as part of the existing leisure centre. This will be a much-improved modern facility, becoming a place for residents to boost their physical activity, families and friends to spend time together and see the return of swimming gala competitions.
Plans include a 6 lane, 25-meter pool, a 13m x 7m leaner pool, with viewing area and changing village.

The new facility will be accessible for all, providing learner swimmers and children the vital life-saving skill of swimming, while delivering health and wellbeing benefits.
