You may qualify for a discount if you’re an Apprentice, and you meet all the below criteria:
- You are in employment for the purpose of learning a trade, business, profession, or vocation which involves undertaking a programme of training leading to a qualification accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority
- You receive a reduced rate of pay due to being an apprentice
- You receive gross pay which does not exceed £195.00 p/w
You’ll need to provide evidence of your wages and a letter from your employer confirming your apprenticeship, start date and end date.
You’ll get a 50% discount if you live with other Apprentices or other ‘disregarded’ people.
You’ll get a 25% discount if you live with an Apprentice, and you’re the only other adult.
