Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council will purchase back from the exclusive right of burial owner any burial plot which has not been buried in and which is no longer required.
This will be purchased back for the same price that was paid for the plot (which is detailed on the grant of right of burial).
The original grant of right of burial should be handed back into the office when requesting the grave be bought back.
