Recycling collection service
We are committed to increasing the amount of waste recycled within the borough and provide a recycling service to businesses in order to divert waste from incineration.
Material diverted for recycling could enable your business to reduce the residual waste bin, size or frequency of collections saving the environment by reducing the amount sent for incineration, but also saving your business money.
For a set bin price we can provide a collection of the following materials for recycling:
- paper
- cardboard
- plastic bottles
- aluminium and steel cans
- glass
What sort of waste/recycling bin can I have?
Our commercial waste service offers the following size range of bins which are suitable for most business premises:
- 240 litre (height: 1063mm, width: 575mm, depth: 713mm)
- 360 litre (height: 1098mm, width: 596mm, depth: 764mm)
- 660 litre (height: 1222mm, width: 1371mm, depth: 764mm)
- 1100 litre (height: 1300, width: 1371, depth: 1085)
How often does the Council collect my trade waste?
We can collect:
- weekly
- fortnightly
- monthly
- 'as and when' to suit your business needs.
Collections are available Monday to Friday and can be as frequent as required.
We aim to be as flexible as possible to meet the requirements of many types of business.
Some of our existing customers have one collection per week whilst larger companies have waste removed every day.
How much will a waste/recycling collection cost?
We offer very competitive rates - to arrange a quotation please complete the customer application form giving us as much information as possible.
Fees for waste collection services vary depending on factors including bin size/type, quantity and collection frequency.
Payment for the service are required in advance, this can be a one off payment or by agreement in monthly instalments via direct debit.
Please note that commercial waste collection is not included with your Business Rates.
