Small amounts of clinical waste, excluding sharps, can be placed in your residual bin.
We do not collect any clinical waste including, sharps (needles, pen devices, blades) or medical waste.
By speaking with your prescriber who issued your sharps, they can advise on how to safely dispose of these. Should they not be able to provide this or advise who can, you will have to pay for this to be collected/disposed of from a private clinical waste collector.
Should you require a sharps box, you can request a prescription for one from your GP.
Please do not place any sharp waste into your residual bin should they be in a sharps box or not.
