Commissioning Strategy

The Commissioning Strategy defines and sets our overall commissioning intentions for adult social care services.

The strategy sets out how we will work with residents, carers, communities, providers and partners to ensure adults can live safe, independent and fulfilling lives.

Built around a commitment to actively listening and co-producing services with local people, our strategy focuses on prevention, early intervention, reducing inequalities, strengthening communities, developing a sustainable and high-quality care market, supporting a skilled workforce, and working collaboratively across health, housing and voluntary sector partners.

Over the next five years, we will use evidence, lived experience and community insight to commission personalised, strengths-based support that promotes wellbeing, maximises independence and delivers better outcomes for the people of Redcar and Cleveland.
