​​​Closing Date for Applications

The closing date for online applications or return of the paper application form is 15 January 2020. 

A supplementary form, for applications for a Roman Catholic primary school, should also be returned by 15 January 2020. This form is not available as part of online application process. You can still make the main application online but a paper supplementary form also needs to be completed and returned by post. Please note that supplementary form does not replace the main online or paper application. Both th​e main application and the supplementary form need to be completed for applications for Roman Catholic primary schools. 

It is important that your application is received by the closing date i.e. 15 January 2020​. Parents should note that failure to apply by the closing date may reduce their chance of receiving a place in their preferred school, if that school is over-subscribed. As far as possible, the LA will accept applications received late, ( online applications cannot be made after the closing date) if there are exceptional reasons for their lateness, and if they are received before the allocation of places is made. Exceptional reasons for lateness may include, for example, when a single parent has been ill for some time, or a family has just moved into the area. Where applications have been received late without good reason, they will not be considered until after all applications received on time have been considered.​
