Redcar & Cleveland Partnership

The Redcar & Cleveland Partnership is the Local Strategic Partnership for Redcar and Cleveland. The Partnership, which was established in 1998, brings together a wide range of Stakeholders, including Elected Members, public sector organisations, voluntary and community groups, and local businesses. Its role is to determine the priorities for the borough, and co-ordinate activities that will improve services and outcomes for local people.

The Partnerships Sustainable Community Strategy, Building a Better Borough was published in 2008. The Strategy sets out our vision for how life will be in Redcar and Cleveland in 2021, and how we intend to get there. However, we recognise that if we are to continue to be effective in improving outcomes for local people, we need a tighter focus on tackling the issues that matter most in the Borough, ensuring our resources are targeted where they are most needed. We have therefore been proactive in developing a Statement of Prioritiesto clearly identify the outcomes we must achieve as a priority over the next five years. Each outcome is underpinned by a small number of objectives that will make a real difference to the lives of our residents.

The Partnership has its own website
