​Staying Active at Home​

It is important that you and your family stay active and healthy even if you are at home. There are lots of online fitness classes you can access for free. Whether you fancy some yoga, a family workout or something that just gets your heart pumping, there's something for everyone. We've included a few workouts that you can do from home below.

Q What can I do to keep physical active at home

A Sport England have created a website dedicated to staying active while you're at home – please use the following link for some great tip and advice:


Families are encouraged to join Joe Wicks for his daily workout aimed at kids Monday to Friday at 9am on his YouTube channel – please see . You can of course access this at any time, if you'd prefer to exercise at another time of day.​

Please make sure if you are doing a workout at home that you have thought of the following:

  • Check with your health professional before you start with any new activity;
  • Make sure you have enough space around you and check they is no tripping hazards;
  • Wear comfortable breathable clothing and a good pair of trainers;
  • Monitor your breathing and don't over exert yourself.​
