Coronavirus is still spreading in our communities and there are simple things we can all do to protect ourselves and others.

Thankfully life is returning to normal for most people, but the virus remains a serious risk for the most vulnerable.

By following the below guidance, you can help the NHS and support everyone in our community.

  • Get vaccinated as soon as you're eligible for all doses.
  • The Covid-19 vaccine is free, safe and effective. The vaccine reduces your risk of catching Covid-19 and becoming seriously ill.
  • Let in fresh air when meeting other people indoors.
  • Fresh air helps to reduce the risk of the virus spreading.
  • Wear a face covering in crowded, enclosed spaces.
  • This protects you and may make other people feel more comfortable.
  • Wash your hands regularly.
  • Good hand hygiene helps stop the spread of Covid-19 and other illnesses.
  • Stay at home whenever possible if you feel unwell.
  • The legal requirement to stay at home may have lifted, but avoiding contact with others when you're ill remains crucial.
