MSCB and RCSCB Training Programme 2018-19
Applications may be made by clicking on the relevant link at the top right corner of this screen, below the search box, for any of the courses advertised in the programme. In addition, courses scheduled in the next couple of months will be advertised in more detail below.
PLEASE NOTE before applying for the Update training, the Core training should have been completed. The Update training is only necessary 12 months after completion of the Core training and on an annual basis thereafter.

The Teeswide Safeguarding All (Adults & Children), Self-Registration for E-Learning system has now gone live. As previously advised (with the exception of Cleveland Police staff), learners may use the same login details that they used in the previous system. There are more courses available than before so its certainly worth taking a look by visiting the TSAB website.

Talking to your children about emotional resilience and self-harm, is a free online course that has been designed to provide parents/carers with a basic awareness of the subject to help parents/cares approach their children with confidence about the issue. It may be accessed by visiting the free online course.
A training course regarding PREVENT can be accessed and completed online. This will take approximately 25 minutes to complete and the certificate, printed after completion, will specify online Channel Awareness Training with the College of Policing.
E-learning is also available for MAPPA and may be accessed online. The appropriate course level will be allocated depending upon your job role, which is entered at registration.
ECPAT UK Child Trafficking Training
ECPAT UK stands for End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and the Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes.
They are a leading children's rights organisation campaigning against the commercial sexual exploitation of children in the UK and on its international aspects. In particular, we focus on the protection of trafficked children and children exploited in tourism and the prevention of such crimes.
Free Online Training
ECPAT UK have produced a free-learning package around child trafficking, that can be used individually, in small groups or during training sessions. To use the e-tool you will need to register first via the ECPAT website.
If you cannot access the e-tool for any reason, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and she will send you a CD-Rom version instead.
