'Working Together to ensure all Children in Redcar and Cleveland are appropriately safeguarded'
Redcar and Cleveland Local Safeguarding Children Board (RCSCB) covers the local authority area of Redcar & Cleveland.
The RCSCB was established from April 2010 when the former South Tees Local Safeguarding
Children Board was disaggregated into 2 separate Boards. All Local Authorities have Safeguarding Children Boards to ensure organisations co-operate fully to safeguard
and promote the welfare of children. Safeguarding Children Boards are also tasked with
producing an Annual Report for the Children and Young People's Trust Board scrutinising and
detailing the effectiveness of work to safeguard children.
