Rules in school

We feel that our school aims will be better achieved if there is good conduct and acceptable behaviour. Rules are kept to a minimum and are agreed between children and teachers: they are largely connected with preventing accidents and anti-social behaviour.

For children whose behaviour is unacceptable there is a firm response or withdrawal of privileges. If there are problems we will discuss them with you in expectation of your help, support and co-operation.

If difficulties of any sort arise that home and school cannot solve, then together we seek help from special needs support services which provide advice and
support and if necessary, extra resources.

We want to help our children become a responsible part of the community and we have high expectations of their behaviour. We have a school policy to define our approach and are keen that parents share in this.
