One of your key relationships as a care leaver will be with your personal adviser (PA) just before your 16th birthday your P.A will introduce themselves and become more involved.
If you are still looked after then your social worker will still be involved in your life until you are 18 and will work alongside your P.A to make sure you get all the opportunities and benefits you are entitled to.
When you reach 18 your P.A will support you through your transition into adulthood.
We can help care leavers find any sort of support they need. We have contact details for all sorts of Counsellors who specialise in a range of things, such as drug and alcohol abuse and bereavement. If you need extra support with any issues speak to your P.A.
