Redcar & Cleveland Borough Councillors will be laying wreaths in Remembrance Day services across the Borough on Sunday, 13th November.
The Councils Mayor Councillor Olwyn Peters will lay a wreath on behalf of the Council at the Redcar Branch of the Royal British Legion Annual Remembrance Day Service.
The parade, led by the Cleveland Police Band, will form up at the Coatham Road Social Club and march off at 10.40 a.m. for the Remembrance Service and wreath laying ceremony at the War Memorial on Coatham Road.
Remembrance day ceremonies in Redcar & Cleveland include:
Boosbeck - Act of Remembrance at 2.30 p.m. at the War Memorial, Boosbeck Cemetery, followed by Service at St. Aidans Parish Church at 3.00 p.m.
On the 11th November, a Service will be held at Lockwood Primary School Cenotaph, Boosbeck at 10.50 a.m.
Brotton - Service begins at 9.45 a.m. in St. Margarets Church, Brotton, followed by Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial at 11 a.m.
Carlin How Service of Remembrance and Wreath Laying Ceremony will take place at the War Memorial at 11.45 a.m.
Dormanstown - The Parade will set off from the G2 building at 10.30 a.m. to arrive for the 10.45 a.m. Service and Wreath Laying Ceremony at the War Memorial.
Easington - Service at All Saints Church at 9 a.m., followed by Service of Remembrance and Wreath Laying Ceremony at the War Memorial at 9.45 a.m.
Eston - The Parade will leave the California Youth Centre, Guisborough Street, Eston at 10.40 a.m. to arrive at the War Memorial, Eston Square at 10.45 a.m. for a Service of Remembrance and Wreath Laying Ceremony.
Grangetown - Service at St. Hildas Church at 9.30 a.m., followed by Wreath Laying Ceremony at the War Memorial.
Guisborough - Parade forms up in New Road at approx 10.30 a.m., for march off at 10.40 a.m. to the War Memorial for dedication, followed by Service in St. Nicholas Church and Wreath Laying Ceremony.
Lazenby - Service at 11 a.m. in St. Cuthberts Parish Church, Wilton, followed by Act of Remembrance and Wreath Laying Ceremony at the War Memorial.
Lingdale - Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial at 1.50 p.m.
Loftus - Parish Requiem Mass at St. Leonards Parish Church at 9.00 a.m. and a mass will also take place at St. Josephs & St. Cuthberts RC Church at 10 a.m. At 10.45 a.m. Parade to the War Memorial for Service of Remembrance and Wreath Laying Ceremony.
Marske - Service at St. Marks Church at 10.45 a.m., followed by Wreath Laying Ceremony at the War Memorial.
Moorsholm - Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial at 9.00 a.m.
New Marske - Parade to assemble at New Marske Shops Car Park at approx. 2.30 p.m., for Parade to St. Thomas Church for 3 p.m. Service and Wreath Laying Ceremony.
Normanby - Service and Wreath Laying Ceremony will take place at the War Memorial Smiths Dock Park, Normanby, on Saturday, 12th November at 11 a.m. Parade will form up in Parklands Car Park at 10.50 a.m.
North Skelton - Act of Remembrance and Wreath Laying Ceremony to take place at the War Memorial at 1.00 p.m.
Ormesby - Service at St. Cuthberts Church, Church Lane, Ormesby at 9.30 a.m., followed by Act of Remembrance and Wreath Laying Ceremony at the War Memorial in the churchyard at 11 a.m.
Saltburn - Service at the Methodist Church, Milton Street at 10.00 a.m., followed by parade to the War Memorial for Wreath Laying Ceremony at 11 a.m.
Skelton - Service at the Methodist Church at 10 a.m., followed by Act of Remembrance and Wreath Laying Ceremony at the War Memorial at approx. 10.45 a.m.
Skinningrove - Service of Remembrance and Wreath Laying Ceremony at the War Memorial at 12.15 p.m.
South Bank - Service of Remembrance and Wreath Laying Ceremony at the War Memorial, Normanby Road, South Bank at 10.45 a.m.
Teesville - Service and Wreath Laying Ceremony in Eston Cemetery (next to the new flag pole) on Saturday, 12th November at 10 a.m.
