25k is a new purpose-built Youth and Community Centre (2008) The centre has numerous meeting rooms, a dance studio and a communal room.

The centre is light and airy and has friendly qualified staff who are always welcoming and willing to help.

A wide variety of activities are available to young people including dance classes, cookery, arts & crafts, basket ball, table tennis, DJ mixing and girls only sessions.

The centre is open during school holiday periods offering day time provision for young people.


Centre Programme

• Youth Club: Wednesday and Thursday 7-9pm
• Junior Youth Club: Wednesday (10 - 13yr old) 5 - 6.30pm
• Community Bowls Club: Monday 1-3pm
• Shape Up Group: Wednesday 9.30am - 12noon
• Duke of Edinburgh Award: Monday 7-9pm

Various groups use the centres training and meeting rooms throughout the week . These are available for hire. Contact the centre for availability.

25k also holds a monthly coffee morning. This is run in conjunction with the Police who hold their Community Ward Surgery at the same time.

The centre/rooms are hired out throughout the day for meetings and various training events.
