Coatham House Projects have secured a premise on Redcar High Street (old Millets shop) to open a shop called 'Re-Loved'.

The shop opens FRIDAY 10TH MAY at 10.00 A.M.

PLEASE COME ALONG AND SEE THIS NEW YOUTH SHOP AND CAFE OFFERING SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

The shop sells "pre-loved" clothing for young people at affordable prices and will also give young people an opportunity to sell clothes they no longer want. The shop has a coffee shop and snack bar attached to give young people a place to re-fuel and relax, providing them with anything from a hot drink to a quick dinner time snack. A section of the coffee bar will be devoted to providing young people with information on local services available to them, and there is also a possibility that they may be able to meet with these services in a private area of the coffee shop to save them going all over the place to meet with various organisations.

Both the shop and the coffee stop will be run by young people for young people but will be overseen by a manager, this will give young people the chance to gain valuable work experience in both the retail industry and catering and hospitality which will put them in great stead for when it comes to looking for full time work because as we all know in the current job market experience is very important but also very hard to get.
