MAIN


MAIN offer advice and support to families who have a child or young adult with an Autistic Spectrum Condition, we provide social clubs, after school clubs,training and parent drop in sessions. We also have a new updated website www.iammain.org.uk, Why not check out Facebook to find the latest info find us using MAIN - Taking Autism Personally. In the Redcar and Cleveland area, The MAIN Project provide young people with various social opportunities.

Social Club - For children with an Autistic Spectrum Condition. Every Thursday, 4pm-6pm, at California Youth Centre , Eston and 6pm-8pm. Two sessions for all different abilities.

Creative Club - For children with any additional need. Every Saturday, 9.15am-11.45am for primary children aged 5-11years and 12.00pm-2.30pm for secondary children aged 12 up to 18 years.

Other services:

Out and About Group; This is one of MAIN's newest. The out & About group provides young people with the chance to access their community whilst learning Money Management skills, Social Skills, Independence, and Confidence building. Activities include, Ice Skating, Restaurants, Rock Climbing, Bowling and Many More (This group is for young people across the Tees Valley)

Youth Group:
The Youth Group is designed for individuals who may be interested in Warhammer, Films and minecraft. There will also be space for others to bring their interest to the group with a show and tell room to encourage social interaction. THIS GROUP ALSO OFFERS A SIBLING PLACE FOR £1 FOR THOSE FAMILIES WHO HAVE OTHER YOUNG PEOPLE WHO MAY WANT TO ATTEND.

Holiday Playscheme - For children with an Autistic Spectrum Condition. This is ran through out the school holidays. Please call for for dates, times and venue.
