CHILD Deaf Youth Project

CHILD Deaf Youth Project is a registered charity working for all D/deaf and
hard of hearing children and young people in the Tees Valley. We provide new
opportunities and experiences during out of school hours and holiday periods
for young people aged 5 to 25 years. CHILD Deaf Youth Project activities reduce
isolation, develop skills and self confidence and encourage independence.

Activities include: a senior youth club, for age 11 to 18 years on
Wednesdays 6.30 - 8.30pm and an Under 11 youth club for age 5 to 10 years on
Thursdays 4.15 - 6.15pm. There are also summer scheme activities, residential
breaks, and an 18 to 25 group plus a Befriender Service.

We also offer a BSL
Level 1 for hearing chidren aged 5-14 who have D/deaf siblings.
