What is the Families' Information Service?
The Families' Information Service provides information, advice and guidance for parents, carers, practitioners and children on the wide range of services and activities/events available for children and young people aged 0-20 years old. We provide a free-phone help-line service as well as providing an on-line directory of services through our Families' Guide website.
More information on the areas we cover

We can help you:

• Find local childcare. We offer independent information and advice about the childcare provision throughout Redcar and Cleveland, including registered day nurseries, childminders, playgroups, creches, out of school clubs, and unregistered breakfast clubs, parent and toddler groups, holiday playschemes and holiday activities.
• Find the services you need for your children aged 0-20 years old, whether they be specialist support services, leisure, health or training organisations, you will find them listed on our Family Services Directory at www.redcarclevelandcyptrust.org.uk/familiesguide
• Find local activities and events for children using our on-line directory of activities and events across Redcar and Cleveland:

• Find appropriate childcare or short beak activities for your children with additional needs or disabilities (through our Disabled Children's Access Officer)
• With information about career and training opportunities in childcare.
• With information about Free Nursery Education places for children aged 3 in the private and voluntary/sector.
• Join your local SureStart Children's Centre. If you're not sure how to register with your local Children's Centre we can advise you and send you the registration form.
