East Cleveland Children's Centre is based in the heart of the community at Loftus Youth and Community Centre. It serves a large rural area comprising the small town of Loftus and the villages of Easington, Liverton Mines, Carlin How, Skinningrove and Brotton. Link sites are located at St Peters Primary School, Brotton, Handale Primary School, Loftus, Hummersea Primary School, Loftus and St Joseph's Primary School, Loftus.

A broad range of services for children and families is available, including family fun activities such as Big Cook Little Cook, Active Tots and Play Together, parent and child play sessions. There is an extensive programme of training courses and employment support for parents and carers wishing to begin or progress their career pathway. The centre also offers a range of parenting support and advice to enable parents to enhance their confidence, skills and knowledge.
