Training Programme 2017/18
MSCB and RCSCBs Training Programme 2017 to 2018 is currently being finalised and will be available here in due course.


Applications may be made by clicking on the relevant link at the top right corner of this screen, below the search box, for any of the courses advertised in the programme. In addition, courses scheduled in the next couple of months will be advertised in more detail below.

Upcoming Training Dates

PLEASE NOTE before applying for the Update training, the Core training should have been completed. The Update training is only necessary 12 months after completion of the Core training and on an annual basis thereafter.

This free online course: Keeping them safe...Protecting Children from Sexual Exploitation, [[CSE - Parents Free Course. pdf]] has been developed to raise awareness of Child Sexual Exploitation with parents and carers, how to spot the signs and report any concerns. It may be be accessed by clicking on the link above and registering for e-learning. During the registration process, choose 'other' when asked to select a department and 'parents and carers' when asked to select a sub department.

Talking to your children about emotional resilience and self-harm, is a free online course that has been designed to provide parents/carers with a basic awareness of the subject to help parents/cares approach their children with confidence about the issue. An online training course regarding PREVENT may be accessed at: http://course.ncalt.com/Channel_General_Awareness. This will take approximately 25 minutes to complete and the certificate, printed after completion, will specify online Channel Awareness Training with the College of Policing.

E-learning is also available for MAPPA and may be accessed at: http://mappa-elearning.co.uk/dashboard.php The appropriate course level will be allocated depending upon your job role, which is entered at registration.

ECPAT UK Child Trafficking Training,
ECPAT UK stands for End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and the Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes.
They are a leading children's rights organisation campaigning against the commercial sexual exploitation of children in the UK and on its international aspects. In particular, we focus on the protection of trafficked children and children exploited in tourism and the prevention of such crimes.

Free Online Training
ECPAT UK have produced a free-learning package around child trafficking, that can be used individually, in small groups or during training sessions. To use the e-tool you will need to register first via the link below.
