A temporary road closure will be in operation for Cleveland St and West Road and multi-way traffic lights will be in operation on Normanby Rd and High St, Normanby from 2nd April 2024 for up to 12 weeks to carry out Highway improvement works. Multi-way traffic lights will be in operation from 8th April 2024 for up to 3 weeks to carry out Utility repair and maintenance works. Work to be carried out by Northern Gas Networks (Enquiries in case of signal failure contact 03700 500 792).

A temporary road closure will be in operation from 26th April 2024 for up to 4 working days to resurface carriageway. Work to be carried out by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council (Enquiries regarding this closure contact 01642 455600 Engineer in charge of scheme is Russ Thompson).

A temporary road closure will be in operation from 15th April 2024 for up to 10 working days to carry out sewer repair works and reinstate. Pedestrians won’t be affected, and a road plate will be in place at the end of each day for vehicular access.
