Report Benefit Fraud:

Nationally, the Benefits Service suffers from over £2 Billion of fraud per annum. This is for payments made by Central Government for such benefits as income support, Incapacity Benefit, Job Seekers Allowance and those by local authoritries for Housing Benefit. The benefits system is funded by various forms of taxation, paid by YOU.

YOU can help bring those who committ fraud to justice by completing the attached form for any person that you think may be committing benefit fraud. The information given will be treated in strict confidence. You need not give your name or address. Please print down the following form and send it to: Counter Fraud Team, Housing Benefit Section, Redcar & Cleveland House, Kirkleatham Street, Redcar. TS10 1XY.

Alternatively, you can call the Housing Benefit FRAUD hotline on 01642 444135 - 24 hours. Again you need not give your name and all information will be dealt with in strict confidence.
