Local Transport Plan 2011-21

The Council's third round Local Transport Plan (LTP3) sets out how the Council will seek to improve transport services and facilities in the coming years in order to address local issues and the key national aims of:

• Supporting Economic Growth;
• Reducing Carbon Emissions;
• Promoting Equality of Opportunity;
• Contributing to Better Safety, Security and Health; and,
• Improving Quality of Life and a Healthy Natural Environment.

Below are links to the Executive Summary and the full LTP3 document and the Environment Report and the Non-Technical Summary of the associated Strategic Environmental Assessment. These documents have been prepared following discussions with key partners and using evidence on transport needs gathered in a range of public consultations.
