To place advertising boards or shop front displays on the street or pavement that might cause an obstruction, you require written consent from Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council. Conditions may be attached.

- Location and site layout plan
- Public liability insurance (£5 million)
- Operating schedule of proposed board or display
There is no fee for a shop front/pavement display.

Yes. This means that you will be able to act as though your application is granted if you have not heard from us within 28 days.

We aim to acknowledge your application within three working days. If you have applied online we will acknowledge your application via email.
