A complaint is when you tell us youre not happy about a service and want us a response from us.
For example:
- The quality of service is poor;
- You receive the wrong information from us;
- Where a planning application hasnt been decided in accordance with the Planning Act or the Councils procedures.
What happens if you make a complaint?
If you are unhappy about something, we need to know so that we can do something about it. We see complaints as an opportunity to improve our services. Once we receive your complaint, we will do our best to put things right without you having to do anything else.
We will usually write within 5 working days to tell you what we have done, or what will happen next. For complaints about Adult and Childrens Social Care, we will write to you within 3 working days.
