Working with developers

The property had been in a very poor condition for a number of years after the previous tenant had left. It had been the subject of vandalism and repeated fly-tipping in the garden. Despite assurances from the owner that refurbishment works would be carried out, the property remained in a poor condition. Formal action had to be taken by the Council on a number of occasions to keep the property secure and remove accumulations of rubbish.

A breakthrough was made when the property was purchased by a developer who had registered their interest in empty homes with us through our online e-form. The developer is also a member of our Landlord Charter. The property was renovated to a high standard and is now reoccupied.
