I always have extra garden waste for collection, can I have a second garden bin?
Yes, however additional bins are chargeable at a cost £22 per bin.
Why do I only get a garden waste collection from March to November?
To utilise our resources appropriately, we do not offer a garden waste collection to residents when there is minimal or no garden waste due to seasonal change. It is not economically, environmentally and financially effective for us to offer garden collections as the number of residents who will require it are minimal. There are facilities at Dunsdale Household Recycling Centre (HWRC) for garden waste which is open all year round.
