Training for Professionals

Families In Redcar and Cleveland we continue to improve the quality and capacity of those working in the private, voluntary and independent childcare and early years' workforce that will be delivered predominantly in-house. Settings are able to tailor the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme to meet the needs of their setting. We recognise that all settings are different and require specific support and training. To ensure high quality provision is a priority for all settings.

Leaders and managers will be offered support to develop their skills in leading teams to strive towards outstanding practice. The CPD courses are designed to provide practitioners with the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to deliver the early years curriculum.

The CPD Programme also contains a level 3 Open College Network course for new childminders as well as continuous professional development for childminders.

If you work in the childcare sector in Redcar & Cleveland and would like to access training please see training overview attachment below or contact Wendy Nixon to discuss requirements on 01287 621901.
