Can't find the page you are looking for?

There are many ways information can be found on the Redcar & Cleveland website. Try the following places to find what you are looking for.

Search

The search will return information for every page on this website, it will not search any other websites. You can use a search engine such as google to find information on any other sites. The search finds pages by looking for the words you enter. It will look at the page title, page content, page tags and any attachments. Therefore your choice of search is important. Try to keep it as clear as possible and make sure it is spelt correctly. The search is available at the top of every page on this site as well as below.

Once you have found what you are looking for why not add a tag to make it easier for others to find.

Tags

A Tag is a keyword or term attached to a page to identify the topic of its content. Pages with identical tags are linked together to allow users to search for similar or related content.

Tags can be submitted to any page with the submit tag button on the right side of the page. Tags that are already on each page are displayed on the right side. Selecting a tag from the list will provide you with a list of all other pages with the same tag.

Tags can be created using a maximum of three words and are added to webpages in addition to all the standard categories to give users more control over the site search. Any tags added to a page will be included in the search. If you use a page and think it should be categorised under a different topic you can add that topic as a tag. For example the Refuse page can be tagged as rubbish, garbage, trash. In this case if anyone searches for rubbish the refuse page will be returned in the results.
