Objectives

To achieve a reduction in:
  • Crime levels
  • The fear of crime
  • Anti-social behaviour (ASB)
  • Neighbourhood nuisance
  • Environmental disorder on estates
  • Dog fouling/littering
  • Act as a Civil Enforcement Officer with regards to the Councils Civil Parking Enforcement policies
The Community Protection Officers shall also actively seek to engage local youth and community groups in the area with a view to improving the overall provision of facilities and/or resources and the quality of life for all sections of the community. The Community Protection Officers will provide a contact and reference point and advise residents or direct them to other agencies and/or service provides as appropriate.
