Corporate Identity

Our corporate identity Style Guide gives clear and detailed guidance on:
  • the use of the Council's roundel and branding
  • corporate colours and fonts
  • required design elements

It is important that all communications and public relations activities - for example events, exhibitions, publications, promotional items, clothing, signage, advertisements are branded and identifiable as the work and services of the Council.

The use of corporate identity and branding reinforces the range of activities and quality services provided by the Council as an organisation this helps to maintain and improve our reputation amongst residents, visitors and businesses as well as reassuring residents that the services they are receiving are credible and accountable.

All services should use the Council's corporate identity to promote themselves and not develop their own 'sub' branding for this purpose.

The Corporate Communications Team is experienced in the development and use of branding and are happy to provide guidance, materials and support.
