Fees and charges from 10th August 2015

Description: Costs:
Fine for late return of books. 50p per day to a maximum of £20.00 per book Those aged between 0 -16 years are exempt from fines
Reservation fee for books and audio visual materials. £1.00 per item at the time the reservation is placed (not subject to the supply of the item or notification) 0-16 year olds are exempt from reservation charges.
Reservation of items in sets. £10.00 per set
Hire of talking books on CD. 70p per CD per 4 weeks. Maximum charge £2.10. Fine for late return 50p per day to a maximum of £20.00. Talking books are FREE to Special Needs borrowers.
Hire of talking books on cassette. 70p per tape per 4 weeks. Maximum charge £2.10. Fine for late return 50p per day to a maximum of £20.00. Talking books are FREE to Special Needs borrowers.
Hire of DVDs. 0-12 year olds £1.00 per film per week (Children's DVDs only)
Hire of language course. £3.00 per course for 4 weeks
Replacement of library tickets. £2.50.
Replacement of lost or damaged stock. 0-6 months since date of acquisition 100% of published price 7-12 months 80% 13-18 months 60% 19-24 months 50% over 24 months 40% .
Photocopying & Printing. Black & White A4 30p, A3 50p Colour A4 50p, A3 £1.00 Double sided copies to be charged as two sheets.
CV's and job applications - free
Prints from reader printers. A4 70p, A3 £1.35
Copies of photographs. 6x4 £4.00, 7x5 £5.30, 8x6 £6.60, 10x8 £10.00, 12x8 £13.20. Additional reproduction fee for commercial use - £50.00 per photograph
Sales of exhibits 15% of purchase price for amateurs. 40% of purchase price for professionals
