RESIDENTS are being encouraged to try their hand at a whole new ball game - when volleyball sessions come to Redcar & Cleveland.
The borough council's Sports Development Team has joined forces with Tees Valley Leisure and Volleyball England to put on the events at Eston Sports Academy, starting on Wednesday, October 19.
The sessions, being run by Volleyball England coaches, will focus on fun and fitness.
They start at 6.30pm each Wednesday and cost £2 each. Participants must be aged 16 and over. Booking is advised, but not essential - contact the Sports Development Team on 01642 496430.
