A174 Roadworks Warning

MOTORISTS are being advised of potential disruption when a £50,000 carriageway improvement scheme gets under way.

A five-day programme of work on the A174 Whitby Road, Loftus, from Loy Lane to the old bus depot, begins on Monday, July 30. Work will start after 9am and finish at 4pm each day to minimise disruption, although delays are still possible.

Temporary traffic lights will be in place, with access to all businesses and homes maintained. Access to Loftus Cemetery will be available via Loy Lane.
