The Multicultural Service in Redcar and Cleveland was established in 1996 out of a need to support, within a school setting, the increasing number of new arrivals from asylum seeking, refugee families and E.A.L. (English as an Additional Language) children from the EU Accession States.

This website has been created to inform, share information and offer support to all schools in Redcar and Cleveland as regards issues concerning our E.A.L pupils and the work of the Multicultural Service.
